New York Jets running back Breece Hall is listed as a game-time decision for the upcoming matchup, casting uncertainty over the fantasy value of backup Braelon Allen. Hall, who wore number 20 during the preseason opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on August 14, 2026 at MetLife Stadium, has been a key component of the Jets' backfield.
The injury situation creates a direct ripple effect for fantasy managers. If Hall is active, Allen's role likely remains limited to change-of-pace duties. However, if Hall sits, Allen would step into a significant workload, making him a viable flex or RB2 option in fantasy lineups.
Fantasy analysts recommend monitoring official inactive reports up until kickoff. The Jets' coaching staff has not tipped their hand regarding Hall's status, leaving both players' fantasy projections in flux for the week.
