Formula 1 driver Kimi Antonelli is dealing with a viral illness ahead of the Mexico Grand Prix, where the 20-year-old could become the youngest champion in the sport's history.
The Mercedes driver, who leads the championship standings, fell ill earlier this week but is expected to participate in the weekend's race at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
If Antonelli secures the title, he would surpass Sebastian Vettel's record as the youngest Formula 1 world champion, set in 2010 at age 23.
