Tennessee Volunteers head coach Josh Heupel said star running back DeSean Bishop is expected to play in the upcoming game against the Kentucky Wildcats after an injury scare earlier this week.
Heupel provided the update on Friday, indicating that Bishop has progressed well in recovery and should be available for the SEC matchup.
The Volunteers host Kentucky on Saturday in a key conference game.
