Columbus Crew secured a crucial 2-0 victory over FC Dallas on Wednesday night, moving into the final playoff position in the MLS Eastern Conference with just two matches remaining in the regular season.
The win lifts the Crew into the ninth and final postseason berth in the East, giving them control of their playoff destiny heading into the season's closing weeks. Columbus' defense preserved the clean sheet while the attack capitalized on key opportunities to secure the three points.
