Former Italy international Angelo Di Livio has criticized Federico Chiesa's decision to join Liverpool, claiming the winger made a mistake by moving to the Premier League club. Di Livio also launched a scathing attack on current Juventus players, stating they are unworthy of wearing the famous black and white jersey.
Transfer Criticism
The comments come after Chiesa completed his transfer to Liverpool from Juventus. Di Livio, who played for Juventus between 1993 and 1999, expressed his disappointment with both the player's choice and the current state of the Turin club.
"Chiesa made a mistake joining Liverpool," Di Livio told Football Italia. He further added that the current Juventus squad does not deserve to represent the club's historic colors.
