Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald addressed the decision to remove offensive lineman Anthony Bradford from the starting lineup, describing the situation as challenging. "It's not an easy situation," Macdonald said, acknowledging the difficulty of the move for the player and the team.
The change comes as the Seahawks evaluate their offensive line configuration ahead of upcoming games. Bradford, a second-year player, had started the previous contests but will now shift to a reserve role.
Macdonald emphasized that the decision was based on performance and team needs, and he expressed confidence in Bradford's ability to respond positively. The coaching staff will continue to assess the line's effectiveness as the season progresses.
