The University of Northern Iowa Panthers will open their season at home against the University of St. Thomas Tommies on November 1, 2026. The matchup marks the first game of the new campaign for both programs.
Northern Iowa, a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, welcomes St. Thomas, which competes in the Summit League. The game serves as an early non-conference test for both teams as they begin their respective seasons.
Tip-off is scheduled for the evening at the McLeod Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Both coaching staffs will use the opener to evaluate roster depth and establish early-season momentum ahead of conference play.
