Florida State University has added a commitment from an in-state wide receiver in the 2028 recruiting class, according to a report from FSU Wire published on November 1, 2026. The Seminoles continue building their future roster by securing talent from their home state of Florida.
The commitment was reported by Matthew Lenix of FSU Wire, though the specific player's name and details were not disclosed in the initial announcement. Florida State has historically prioritized retaining top talent within the state, and this early commitment for the 2028 cycle signals the program's ongoing focus on local recruiting pipelines.
Early commitments in the 2028 class remain relatively rare nationally, making this pledge a notable development for the Seminoles' long-term roster planning. The program will likely continue targeting additional in-state prospects as the recruiting cycle progresses.
