Nürnberg secured a clinical away win over St. Pauli at the Millerntor in the 2. Bundesliga on Sunday, capitalising on the hosts' profligacy in front of goal. The visitors' efficiency proved decisive as St. Pauli failed to convert their chances, leaving Nürnberg to take all three points back to Franconia.
The result continues Nürnberg's solid form in Germany's second tier, while St. Pauli will rue missed opportunities that could have changed the complexion of the match. Both sides remain in the mix as the 2. Bundesliga season progresses.
