A report from The Big Lead published on November 1, 2026, has raised speculation about whether former NFL tight end Greg Olsen could replace Troy Aikman in the Monday Night Football broadcast booth. The story, authored by Jordan Tomiyama, questions the future of ESPN's lead analyst position currently held by Pro Football Hall of Famer Troy Aikman.
Greg Olsen, who retired from playing in 2021, has been working as a color commentator for Fox Sports' NFL coverage.
