Following Week 9 of the college football season, the AP Top 25 poll released Sunday shows significant movement in the top 10. Georgia climbed to No. 2 after a 27-8 victory over rival Florida, while Ohio State fell to No. 11 with its second loss of the season.

The Bulldogs' defense forced four turnovers, including a pick-six, in the win over the Gators, who dropped to No. 25. Miami remained at No. 1 after surviving a close game against North Carolina, and Utah rose to No. 3, setting up a top-10 matchup with No. 7 BYU in the Holy War. Notre Dame moved up to No. 4 ahead of a top-four clash with Miami.

Ohio State's drop came after starting freshman quarterback Luke Fahey in a loss to USC, which re-entered the poll at No. 18. The Buckeyes now face a difficult path to the College Football Playoff. Meanwhile, New Mexico entered the rankings for the first time in program history at No. 22 after a 7-1 start.

The full top 25 includes Miami (8-0), Georgia (7-1), Utah (8-0), Notre Dame (7-1), UCLA (8-0), Indiana (8-1), BYU (7-1), Kentucky (7-1), Alabama (6-2), and Texas (6-2) rounding out the top 10.
