Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo commented on Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton assuming play-calling responsibilities for the 2026 season.
Spagnuolo, speaking to reporters on October 31, 2026, offered his perspective on Payton's decision to take direct control of the Broncos' offense.
Payton, who previously served as offensive play-caller during his tenure with the New Orleans Saints, returns to that role in Denver after the team's offensive struggles in 2025.
