Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe found the net on Sunday as his side defeated Racing Santander, maintaining pressure on La Liga leaders Barcelona following a turbulent week for the French forward.
The victory came after Mbappe faced controversy during a recent trip to China, though details were not specified in the immediate report. His goal helped secure three points for Carlo Ancelotti's team in their domestic campaign.
Real Madrid's win keeps them within striking distance of Barcelona at the top of the Spanish league table as the season progresses.
