Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson is back with the team after a year-long absence, raising questions about whether he will reclaim his starting role. The news was reported by Joel A. Erickson of the Indianapolis Star on November 2, 2026.
Richardson, the Colts' first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, missed the entire 2025 season. His return to the roster adds a significant storyline to Indianapolis' quarterback situation as the team evaluates its options for the remainder of the campaign.
The Colts have not officially named a starter for upcoming games, leaving Richardson's immediate playing status uncertain. His development and health will be key factors in the coaching staff's decision-making process.
