The Oklahoma City Thunder have exercised their contract options on guards Jared McCain and Thomas Sorber for the 2026-27 NBA season, according to a report from The Oklahoman. The team declined the option on forward Nikola Topic.
The decisions were announced on November 2, 2026. McCain and Sorber will remain under team control for the upcoming season, while Topic's future with the franchise becomes uncertain after the option was not picked up.
Thunder general manager Sam Presti continues to shape the roster through strategic contract management as Oklahoma City builds around its young core.
