Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker is set to co-headline a fight card in his adopted home city of Sydney, Australia. The New Zealand-born fighter, who previously held the 185-pound title, will compete in front of a home crowd in what marks a significant return to Australian soil for the promotion.
Whittaker last fought at UFC 298 in Anaheim, California, where he faced Paulo Costa in a middleweight bout on February 17, 2024. The Sydney event represents another high-profile assignment for the perennial contender, who has remained a fixture at the top of the division since losing the championship to Israel Adesanya.
