Seattle Mariners infielder Cole Young has won his first American League Gold Glove Award, the league announced on Monday. The honor makes Young the first Mariners player to capture a Gold Glove since Cal Raleigh and Dylan Moore both won in 2024.
Young, who wears number 2, earned the recognition for his defensive excellence at his position during the 2026 season. The award continues a tradition of strong defensive play for the Mariners organization.
