Chargers Reject Trade Offers for Khalil Mack as Deadline Approaches

Chargers Reject Trade Offers for Khalil Mack as Deadline Approaches
World Sports · 21:29:25 - Wednesday, 4 November 2026

The Los Angeles Chargers have reportedly shut down trade discussions involving star edge rusher Khalil Mack, according to sources close to the situation. The decision comes as the NFL trade deadline approaches, with multiple teams having expressed interest in acquiring the veteran pass rusher.

Mack, a three-time All-Pro and former Defensive Player of the Year, has been the subject of trade speculation in recent weeks. However, the Chargers' front office has made it clear they intend to keep the 35-year-old defender on their roster for the remainder of the season.

The Chargers currently sit in playoff contention in the AFC West, and Mack's presence on the defensive line remains a key component of their strategy. Since joining Los Angeles in 2022, Mack has continued to produce at a high level, recording double-digit sacks in each of his first two seasons with the team.

With the trade deadline set for early November, the Chargers' firm stance effectively ends any possibility of Mack moving to a new team before the postseason push.
