AC Milan owner Gerry Cardinale has reiterated his commitment to restoring the club to the summit of European football, stating that he remains fully behind head coach Ruben Amorim. Speaking to Football Italia on October 31, 2026, Cardinale emphasized his determination to "bring Milan back to the top" and dismissed speculation about a managerial change.
The American investor, who leads RedBird Capital Partners' ownership of the Rossoneri, affirmed that Amorim retains his full confidence despite recent results. The Portuguese coach, appointed in 2025, has been tasked with rebuilding the squad and returning the seven-time European champions to consistent Champions League contention.
Cardinale's public backing comes amid a period of transition for the club, which has undergone significant squad turnover in recent transfer windows. The owner's statement aims to provide stability as Milan navigate a demanding schedule in both Serie A and European competition.
