The Houston Rockets defeated the Boston Celtics 109-83 on Monday night, with Marcus Smart delivering a vintage performance against his former team.
Smart, who spent nine seasons with the Celtics, was described as being at his "annoying best" as he pestered Boston's offense throughout the contest.
The win also featured a notable request from Rockets center Alperen Şengün and reflected the ongoing influence of Kevin Durant on the league's competitive landscape.
The game took place on November 3, 2026, and was reported by Varun Shankar of the Houston Chronicle.
