A charity cycling challenge by a dedicated football supporter has been derailed after his specially customized bicycle was stolen. Mark Crowther, who was undertaking a fundraising ride, had his unique bike taken, forcing an abrupt end to his efforts.
The stolen bicycle featured a distinctive orange stripe painted on its frame, a tribute to Crowther's beloved club Luton Town. The fan had been using the ride to raise money for charitable causes when the theft occurred.
Crowther described the bike as unique and easily identifiable due to the club-colored marking. The incident was reported by BBC journalist Shariqua Ahmed on November 3, 2026, highlighting the setback for the supporter's fundraising mission.
