Former professional tennis player John Isner has offered a prediction about a potential future matchup between American rising star Ben Shelton and Spanish world number one Carlos Alcaraz, should Alcaraz's current coach Juan Carlos Ferrero continue guiding him next year.
The prediction was reported by Tennishead on November 3, 2026. Isner, a former top-10 player known for his powerful serve, did not disclose the specific details of his forecast in the initial report.
Shelton, 22, has emerged as one of the most exciting prospects on the ATP Tour, while Alcaraz, 21, has already won multiple Grand Slam titles. Ferrero, a former world number one himself, has coached Alcaraz since 2021.
