Novak Djokovic overcame a stern test from Valentin Vacherot to extend his 2026 campaign, according to reports from Last Word on Sports. The Serbian star, photographed in action during the Cincinnati Open on August 15, 2026, where he faced Argentina's Thiago Agustín Tirante at the Lindner Family Tennis Center, managed to navigate a challenging encounter against Vacherot in a later tournament.
The victory preserves Djokovic's season aspirations as he continues his pursuit of further titles on the ATP Tour. The 24-time Grand Slam champion has faced a demanding schedule in 2026, with the Cincinnati Open in August serving as a key hard-court preparation event ahead of the US Open.
