With the NFL trade deadline approaching on November 10, 2026, Yahoo Sports has outlined six hypothetical blockbuster trades that could bolster Super Bowl contenders. The proposals involve star players such as Jonathan Taylor, Breece Hall, George Pickens, Camryn Bynum, Khalil Mack, and Saquon Barkley moving to teams with championship aspirations.
Green Bay Packers Acquire Jonathan Taylor
The Packers, who rank last in rushing yards per game (60.6) and yards per carry (2.9) entering Week 9, would send a 2028 second-round pick, a 2027 third-round pick, and a 2027 fifth-round pick to the Indianapolis Colts for running back Jonathan Taylor. Taylor, who ranks fifth in evaded tackles (32) and eighth in breakaway runs (six), would return to Wisconsin where he starred in college. The Colts would gain draft capital for a multi-year rebuild.
Kansas City Chiefs Land George Pickens
To give Patrick Mahomes a true No. 1 receiver, the Chiefs would trade a 2027 second-round pick to the Dallas Cowboys for wide receiver George Pickens, who is playing on the franchise tag. Pickens would be a half-season rental, with Kansas City potentially receiving a 2028 compensatory pick if he leaves in free agency. Dallas would gain a higher-value pick than the compensatory selection they would otherwise receive.
Buffalo Bills Add Safety Camryn Bynum
Addressing a secondary that has allowed 254.7 passing yards per game and a 96.3 opponent passer rating, the Bills would send a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick to the Colts for safety Camryn Bynum. The 28-year-old has recorded 20 passes defended and 8 interceptions in his last 42 starts and is under contract through 2028.
Minnesota Vikings Trade for Breece Hall
With Jonathan Taylor off the board in this scenario, the Vikings would acquire New York Jets running back Breece Hall for a 2027 second-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick. Hall, 25, carries cap hits of $11.486 million (2026), $14.5 million (2027), and $15.5 million (2028). The Jets could turn to Braelon Allen, who averaged 100.8 rushing yards per game and 5.4 yards per carry during Hall's five-game absence.
San Francisco 49ers Acquire Khalil Mack
The Los Angeles Chargers would trade 35-year-old edge rusher Khalil Mack and a 2027 fifth-round pick to the 49ers for a 2027 third-round pick. Despite his age, Mack is considered the best three-down defender potentially available. San Francisco would gain a veteran presence alongside DeForest Buckner on the defensive line.
Cincinnati Bengals Pursue Saquon Barkley
The Bengals would send a 2027 third-round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for running back Saquon Barkley, who is averaging 4.9 yards per carry in 2026. Barkley would serve as the early-down back while Chase Brown handles passing downs. Philadelphia, facing a disappointing season, would capitalize on Barkley's value before age and workload diminish his return.
