A former offensive lineman for the 1972 Miami Dolphins, the only NFL team to complete a perfect season, has died at the age of 79. The player was a member of the Dolphins squads that won Super Bowl VII and Super Bowl VIII.
The 1972 Dolphins finished 17-0, capping the season with a victory in Super Bowl VII, and repeated as champions the following year. The lineman's death marks the loss of another member of that historic roster.
