Top-ranked Florida secured a 77-67 victory over No. 14 Miami on Tuesday night, fueled by a standout performance from Thomas Haugh. The forward recorded a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Gators in the early-season matchup.
The game, played on November 3, 2026, showcased Florida's depth and defensive intensity against a highly ranked Atlantic Coast Conference opponent. Haugh's contributions on both ends of the floor proved decisive as the Gators maintained control throughout the second half.
Miami, ranked 14th nationally, challenged the top-ranked team but ultimately fell short against Florida's balanced attack. The win strengthens Florida's position at the top of the national polls as the college basketball season progresses.
