Caitlin Clark, the Indiana Fever star and former Iowa standout, did not dismiss the idea of joining a potential WNBA expansion team in Philadelphia when pitched by Kylie Kelce, wife of former Eagles center Jason Kelce.
Kelce, who has been vocal about bringing a WNBA franchise to Philadelphia, reportedly made the pitch to Clark during a recent interaction. Clark, who is entering her second WNBA season, left the door open rather than shutting down the possibility.
Philadelphia is among the cities considered for future WNBA expansion, with league officials expressing interest in adding teams in the coming years. The prospect of Clark, one of the league's most marketable players, joining a Philadelphia franchise would be a significant boost for the new team.
