Former NBA star and coach Steve Nash has reportedly called Kyrie Irving the most skilled player in basketball history, according to a ClutchPoints story published on November 3, 2026. The comment has sparked discussion about how LeBron James, a longtime rival and peer of Irving, might respond to such high praise.
The report, authored by David Yapkowitz, does not include direct quotes from Nash or a reaction from James. The basketball community is now watching for any public response from James, who has faced Irving in multiple NBA Finals and shared the court with him during their time together on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
