Notre Dame's football team has been placed 11th in the inaugural College Football Playoff (CFP) rankings for the 2026 season, released on November 4.
The ranking marks the first official CFP poll of the year, setting the stage for the postseason selection process. The Fighting Irish enter the rankings with a record that has positioned them just outside the top ten.
Mike Berardino of the South Bend Tribune reported the placement, which will be updated weekly as the regular season progresses.
