Philippines' Alex Eala will take on a familiar opponent in the Hong Kong Open following a late change to the draw. The women's singles round-of-32 match was played on November 3, 2026, at Victoria Park Tennis Stadium in Hong Kong, China, as part of the Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open.
Eala, a rising star in Filipino tennis, lined up against Australia's Emerson Jones. The pair have met previously on tour, adding extra intrigue to the contest after the original opponent was replaced shortly before the match.
