Fantasy football managers should consider benching eight wide receivers in Week 9, according to a new analysis from Fantasy Sports On SI. The list features Philadelphia Eagles rookie Makai Lemon and Omar Cooper Jr., along with six other pass-catchers facing unfavorable matchups or reduced roles.
The recommendation comes as part of a weekly "must-sit" column published Wednesday, November 4, 2026. Lemon, who was photographed during the Eagles' game at Nissan Stadium on September 20, 2026, is among the players projected to underperform relative to their draft capital.
Fantasy Sports On SI contributor Thomas Carelli highlighted the group as options to avoid in starting lineups for the upcoming NFL weekend.
