Miami East High School made program history on Tuesday night, defeating Xenia Legacy Christian 1-0 to advance to the program's first-ever regional final in the Ohio high school soccer tournament.
The Vikings secured the historic victory in the Division III regional semifinal, with the lone goal proving enough to send Miami East to the regional championship match. The win marks the deepest postseason run in the school's soccer history.
Miami East will now prepare for the regional final, where they will face the winner of the other semifinal bracket for a chance to advance to the state semifinals.
