A new book chronicles the remarkable journey of Ron LeFlore, who went from prison to becoming a star outfielder for the Detroit Tigers. The book, written by Christian Romo of the Detroit Free Press, details LeFlore's transformation and baseball career.
LeFlore played for the Tigers from 1974 to 1979, earning an All-Star selection in 1976 and leading the American League in stolen bases in 1978. His life story has previously inspired the 1978 television movie "One in a Million: The Ron LeFlore Story."
