Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Kenny Gainwell delivered a career-best performance on Sunday, rushing for 140 yards on 25 carries to lead the Buccaneers to a 16-0 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Tampa.
Gainwell's 140-yard effort included a 28-yard run and marked his highest single-game total in the NFL. The win showcased the backfield duo of Gainwell and Bucky Irving, a combination the Buccaneers had envisioned as a key part of their offensive plan.
While Gainwell dominated the ground attack, Irving also contributed to the Buccaneers' rushing attack, though specific statistics for Irving were not immediately available. The shutout marked Tampa Bay's first of the season and highlighted the effectiveness of their running game.
The game took place on November 5, 2026, at Raymond James Stadium. The report was filed by Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.
