Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has suggested that Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic may be the best scorer in basketball history. The two-time MVP made the remark ahead of a matchup between the Bucks and Lakers, praising Doncic's offensive versatility and scoring arsenal.
Antetokounmpo, himself one of the league's most dominant offensive forces, highlighted Doncic's ability to score from all three levels — at the rim, in mid-range, and from beyond the arc — as well as his elite footwork and basketball IQ. The comment adds to growing recognition of Doncic's historic offensive production since entering the NBA in 2018.
Doncic, 27, has already accumulated multiple scoring titles and All-NBA First Team selections, averaging over 27 points per game for his career. The Lakers acquired him in a blockbuster trade during the 2024-25 season, pairing him with LeBron James and later Anthony Davis.
