A report from The Sporting News has dismissed speculation linking Kai Trump to University of Miami placekicker Jake Weinberg. The rumors, which circulated on social media, suggested a romantic connection between Trump and the Hurricanes specialist. According to journalist Rodney Knuppel, sources close to the situation have confirmed the two are not dating.
Weinberg, a kicker for the Miami football program, has drawn attention for his on-field performances. The denial puts an end to brief online conjecture that had gained traction earlier this week. Neither party has issued a public statement beyond the reported clarification.
