Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans emphasized improvement over winning streaks during a recent media availability, according to a report from Texans Wire.
Ryans, who has led the Texans since 2023, stated that his focus remains on the team's performance and execution rather than any consecutive victories. The comments come as Houston navigates the 2026 NFL season.
The coach's approach prioritizes consistent development and week-to-week progress over the narrative of a winning streak.
