Trade rumors are circulating around the Atlanta Braves as the offseason approaches, with multiple reports linking the club to established starting pitchers Freddy Peralta and Michael King. Both right-handers have been mentioned as potential targets to bolster Atlanta's rotation for the 2027 season.
Peralta, who has spent his entire career with the Milwaukee Brewers, offers a high-strikeout profile and durability, while King emerged as a frontline starter for the San Diego Padres after transitioning from a multi-inning relief role. The Braves, perennial contenders in the National League East, have consistently sought pitching depth to complement their powerful lineup.
Neither player's current team has publicly commented on trade discussions, and any potential deal would likely involve significant prospect capital given the controllable contracts of both pitchers.
