Ben Shelton secured his 43rd victory of the 2026 season on Thursday, defeating France's Arthur Rinderknech in the round of 16 to reach the quarterfinals of the Paris Masters. The American's season-best win total propels him into the last eight at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Nanterre.
Fritz and Alcaraz also through
Fellow American Taylor Fritz advanced with a straight-sets win over home favorite Arthur Fils. Carlos Alcaraz also booked his place in the quarterfinals, setting up a strong contingent in the latter stages of the tournament.
Shelton, coached by his father Bryan Shelton, celebrated the milestone win on court. The 24-year-old will next face a quarterfinal opponent to be determined.
