Rutgers Scarlet Knights head coach Greg Schiano is once again navigating his annual quarterback competition, a recurring storyline for the program. The situation was highlighted during the team's September 3, 2026 game against the Massachusetts Minutemen at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey.
Schiano, who has led Rutgers through multiple seasons, continues to evaluate his quarterback options as the team seeks consistency at the position. The competition has become a familiar offseason and early-season theme under his leadership.
