New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft will not attend the team's Hall of Fame induction ceremony for former tight end Rob Gronkowski after undergoing back surgery, the Associated Press reported on Thursday.
The ceremony, scheduled for later this year, will honor Gronkowski's career with the Patriots. Kraft's absence marks a rare miss for the longtime owner, who has been a constant presence at franchise milestones.
