Ohio State head coach Ryan Day indicated that quarterback Julian Sayin's injury will require an extended recovery period, stating it is "not gonna be next week or next month" and "gonna take some time."
Sayin, who wears number 10 for the Buckeyes, was seen on the field wearing a sling during the team's game against the Indiana Hoosiers at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana, on October 17, 2026. The specific nature of the injury was not disclosed, but Day's comments suggest a lengthy absence for the young quarterback.
