Montreal Canadiens are reportedly showing interest in Detroit Red Wings defenseman Simon Edvinsson and forward Dylan Larkin, according to NHL rumors circulating in early November 2026. The speculation comes as Edvinsson continues to develop into a top-pairing defender for Detroit, highlighted by his matchup against Philadelphia Flyers rookie Matvei Michkov during a March 28, 2026 game at Little Caesars Arena. Larkin, the Red Wings captain, remains a key offensive leader for Detroit. Neither player's current contract status nor potential trade framework has been disclosed.
