ESPN's lead NFL broadcasting duo of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are reportedly headed for a split, according to a report by Chris Bumbaca of USA TODAY and the Detroit News published Wednesday.
The longtime broadcast partners, who moved to ESPN together in 2022 to call Monday Night Football, have been the network's premier NFL announcing team for three seasons. Details about the nature of the reported feud or the timeline for a potential separation were not immediately disclosed.
Buck, a veteran play-by-play announcer, and Aikman, the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback turned analyst, previously worked together at Fox Sports for two decades before joining ESPN. Their partnership has been one of the most recognizable in sports broadcasting.
