Barcelona have received a potential boost ahead of their La Liga showdown with Atletico Madrid on Sunday, with reports indicating a key defender for the visitors is doubtful due to injury.
The unnamed Atletico player, described as a crucial part of Diego Simeone's backline, missed training sessions earlier this week, raising concerns over his availability for the high-stakes encounter at the Metropolitano Stadium.
Barcelona, currently chasing the league leaders, will hope to capitalize on any defensive vulnerability as they look to close the gap at the top of the table.
