Nashville Predators defeated Colorado Avalanche 3-2 in overtime on Thursday night in Denver, with Steven Stamkos scoring the winning goal on a power play.
Stamkos's goal came after a penalty on the Avalanche, and he was congratulated by defenseman Roman Josi. Ross Colton had scored for Nashville in the first period, while Nathan MacKinnon led the Avalanche's attack. Goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood was beaten on the decisive shot.
