Chennai Super Kings have acquired England all-rounder Liam Livingstone from Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the next Indian Premier League season, while parting ways with left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed.
The move brings Livingstone, known for his explosive batting and useful off-spin, to the five-time champions. The 31-year-old previously played for Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals before joining Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Khaleel Ahmed, who has represented India in limited-overs cricket, departs Chennai after a stint with the franchise. The 26-year-old seamer has also played for Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad in previous IPL seasons.
