The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly unlikely to trade guard Austin Reaves despite interest from the Detroit Pistons, according to HoopsHype. Reaves has become a key contributor for Los Angeles since going undrafted in 2021, averaging double-digit scoring in recent seasons while providing perimeter shooting and playmaking. The Pistons, in a rebuilding phase, have reportedly inquired about the 26-year-old's availability, but the Lakers view him as a core piece alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. No formal trade discussions are believed to be advanced.
