The New York Giants are open to using cornerback Deonte Banks as a return specialist, according to a report from Giants Wire. The move would add a new dimension to the team's special teams unit, utilizing Banks' athletic ability in the return game.
Tyler Henry of Giants Wire reported the development on Friday, November 6, 2026. Banks, primarily a defensive back, would be taking on additional responsibilities if the coaching staff decides to deploy him in the return role.
