Detroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart believed he was headed to either the Los Angeles Lakers or Washington Wizards before being dealt to the Memphis Grizzlies, according to a report from HoopsHype on Friday.
The trade speculation surrounding Stewart had linked him to multiple teams ahead of the NBA's transaction deadline, with the Lakers and Wizards emerging as perceived frontrunners in the forward's mind before Memphis ultimately acquired him.
